Education Planning & Advocacy
including IEP/504 Meeting Representation
Service Description
This service is for parents who have received an educational evaluation from their child's school, or if their child's school refused a request for an evaluation and you are unsure how to proceed. Allison can make recommendations for goals on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan, look at any data the school has provided (psych reports, evaluations, MTSS data, districtwide assessments such as NWEA & ILEARN or IREAD, etc), and assist with next steps to ensure your child's IEP or 504 plan truly fits his or her needs. This service includes representation at an IEP/504 Plan meeting, or any other meeting at your child's school that you would like for us to be present for. Allison is also available to attend school meetings to review test results or advocate for your student.
